I figure it's one of those cyclical things at LJ. Every now and then somebody gets her panties in a triple twist about this kind of nonsense, and then there's a big blowup and people get to clean out their friends lists.

I was sitting on the sidelines watching for a lot of it (though not all) and it's been pretty clear to me who's been behaving rationally here and who hasn't.
