Oh, some of the PsychoElijahFans decided to have a little flesh-eating orgy. Apparently they just can't handle the idea that somebody might get attention they think they should be getting, and they think it's some sort of Heinous Crime to use an alias or create a separate identity. Not everyone has the ability to mind their own business about others' lives, it seems. They're gettin' calluses pattin' themselves on the back, as Henry Moon would say. *yawn*

Well, a lot of it has gone on outside my sphere, but you can see some of it over at wilde_boy_jack's LJ (he was the one being ripped up). There's also a mockery LJ at wilde_girl_jill. So VERY clever, yes. I'm most impressed. *if I roll my eyes anymore, I think they'll pop out.*

Also if you take a look at my friends list, you'll see a bit about it. Look for the post mentioning sock puppets.

You know, I really don't get the whole shrieking hatred when it comes to sock pupppets. As if any online identity ever conveys the whole truth about somebody. And this guy never asked anybody for anything, as far as I can see. So it's not like anyone was getting ripped off. I guess some people just can't stand not being the center of attention.

Blood is not a good salad dressing, in my opinion.

Lord, with all the real stuff going on today in the world and with people dying (and I am not just talking Iraq, but I am talking CIA operatives who are so far undercover that WE will never hear about it and their families may not hear about it) as a result, this stuff is not worth the keystrokes. IMHO of course. But, I guess it has entertainment value, in a real world that is increasingly horrific.

Hey, I've gotten to the point where I'd much rather watch the Daily Show then truck with the childish bullshit here on LJ. But it's amusing to take a break from the real world now and then, as you say. ;)
