All very true, especially or - get this - weren't OLD enough to enjoy these films yet. New potential fans come along every year, and each time LOTR is placed in front of them as a product, we garner more people into the land of Tolkien enjoyment.

It's hard to believe for those of us old farts fans who have lived with this story in our heads for decades, but there are people, i.e. teens, who are just hitting the prime years for indoctrination enjoying the glory that is LOTR. I could live with a new goodie coming out every three years or so, absolutely, I could.

My only disappointment so far is that there has been no mention of the fabled blooper reel. Ah, well, that will be for the next reissue.
