Burning backup discs for my pooter here. It's got virus activity, so I have to get the hard drive wiped. But I've got a LOT of stuff stored, so it's kinda taking forever. Especially when there's a certain cat who is jealous of the keyboard!
Do you have a firewall and/or antivirus software installed? If not, I can recommend some good utilities for you that work well (and are free, to boot). Just let me know.
I've got Zone Alarm for a firewall. But the antivirus I've got is Norton, it's out of date and I can't renew it, and for some screwy damn reason it will not allow itself to be uninstalled, so I can't install any other program to take its place. So I'm without any virus protection, which is why I have to have my hard drive wiped. Yeesh.
I'd appreciate any advice on good programs to use, once I get this taken care of. :)
