Oh god. So many layers to this. I was tensing in horror at the near rape but Zeke pulled back, although the history there seems disturbing. Yet right up to that point - and after - there is so much love and trust. The foreshadowing of something decisive and painful, something ending, is hard to deal with. But that's almost blasted out of my mind by the desperate passion and need for each other. The shifting in space time is one of the edgy features of this story and it leaves so many questions buzzing in the mind. There is power and threat and consuming physical love but clearly there has been damage too.
