Here's a lovely hobbity love song from this album:

Corn Rigs
by Paul Giovanni

It was upon a Lammas night
When corn rigs are bonny.
Beneath the moon's unclouded light,
I held a while to Annie
The time went by with careless heed,
'til 'tween the late and early,
With small persuasion she agreed
to see me through the barley

Corn rigs and barley rigs and
corn rigs are bonny.
I'll not forget that happy night
Among the rigs with Annie.

The sky was blue, the wind was still,
The moon was shining clearly.
I set her down with right good will
Among the rigs of barley.
I kenned her heart was all my own;
I loved her most sincerely.
I kissed her o'er and o'er again
Among the rigs of barley.

Corn rigs and barley rigs and
Corn rigs are bonny.
I'll not forget that happy night
Among the rigs with Annie...

Ooh, is this the new one or the old one?

This is the original Wicker Man.

I shudder at the thought of that new thing starring...Nicolas Cage.

*headdeskheaddeskheaddeskheaddesk*

Ow. Now I have a headache.

LOL Yeah. Why do they keep casting him in things? Ugh.

I haven't seen the original. I keep hearing about it but I can't rent it anywhere here in Mormonville, Utah. :(

I DON'T KNOW. When he started out, he was a lot of fun. Passionate and funny and really cute. But somewhere in the last ten years, he got all dumpy and depressive, and now rare is the time that I don't think he's just taking up space where a more engaging actor would be so much better.

You know, I ran into him at Golden Apple Comics here in L.A., back in the 80's just after Valley Girl had come out. He was quite quite yummy back then. *sigh*

As to renting Wicker Man, you can get it through Netflix. Failing that, I can burn you a copy. Once I get the DVD burner on my computer replaced, that is. >:(

I don't have a Netflix account and I don't really plan on getting one...you don't have to burn it, but would you mind uploading it when you can? I would be most appreciative.
