My copy of the Two Towers Extended Edition arrived yesterday. It's sitting right next to my computer, and I swear the damned thing is singing to me. In a low, seductive whisper, that morphs from one hottie voice to another. Sometimes it's Elijah, sometimes Sean, sometimes Dave, etc., etc. And they're all murmuring and whispering and moaning the same thing:

Watch me. Come on, babe, you know you want to. Come on. Just take me in your hands, spread me open and take me out. Pop open that slot and slip me in. I want you to. Come on, baby. I want you to watch me...

Ooohhhh, DAMN. I can feel myself wilting, wavering, about to give in.

What I'm doing is waiting for the theater showing. I want to see this stuff for the first time on the big screen. I would've done the same last year, if there'd been a chance to see the FOTR EE in theaters. I mean, this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I don't want to blow it because of a little impatience. The EE's going to be in my collection for...oh, I'd say forever. But I'll only have one chance to have my mind blown by seeing it on the screen of the Cinerama Dome. I figure the DVD can wait.

But it's so harrrrrrd... (In a manner of speaking - stop sniggering, Singe!)
