I mean, really, how bloody hard is that? How difficult is it to have some consideration for those of us who don't want to know the details about ROTK? I'm not asking that you not talk about it. I'm asking that you not shove details about the movie into the faces of those that DON'T WANT TO KNOW.

And one more thing - could we all just RELAX about the movie cuts? We've been through all this TWICE already. Each time it's the same thing. Oh, how could they leave this out? They've ruined the story!! PJ is evil!! Then the EE comes out and it's Oh, I see now! It's actually a brilliant film!

You're NOT going to get the whole film here, folks. That's coming in the EE. When are people gonna GET that? PJ HAS TO CUT THE THING - IT'S NOT HIS REQUIREMENT. IT'S THE STUDIO'S. We'll get the whole thing eventually. So just CHILL OUT, FOR GODS' SAKES!

Man, PJ & Co. hand us the moon on a silver platter, and some folks still gotta complain that it has stains.

*giggles* *applauds* I have been guilty of some freakage, but I'm quite over it. Mostly because people like you throw in some much-needed reality checks to balance out the people who are bemoaning the fate of Tolkien's ME because of the movies. Go you!

Thanks. :) It's getting awfully exhausting, running into all this tension and hostility. Why do so many folks feel they have to dwell on the negative? Man, I'm so grateful to be getting these films at all. What's to bitch about??

Thank you Serai for making several good points. I don't see how these folks can complain when they haven't even SEEN the movie yet! Have they? So what's with that? Sure we would all love a movie that lasts 5 hours and has all of our favorite scenes. But that isn't reality. I trust PJ to put it together. He has come through so far.
