Tell me about it. I always thought he was the best-looking kid, and was growing up to be a really fine guy. I still don't understand what the hell got into him.
He really was so cute and I just saw a picture of him singing "Girlfriend" then I just flashed on the wierdness that is him today and I really do not understand. All the talent in the world; sing, dance, pull original music out of the air and then to still think yourself ugly? It has to be child abuse, it is the only thing that makes sense of his elaborate self loathing.
Sad story, isn't it? It's frightening to think that Elijah could easily have become another one of Hollywood child-star mishap. My deepest respect to his mother.
