I like this version better, because I don't know most of the songs from the year I was born. *headdesk*
Go to Music Outfitters. Instead of your birth year, put the year you graduated high school into the search engine. Copy and paste the top 100 of that year into your journal.
Bold the songs you like.
Underline your favourite.
Strike through the songs you loathe.
( The Top 100 from the year I graduated from High School... )
Yeah, yeah, I was a BeeGees fan, so sue me. (Still like a lot of their stuff, in fact.) And my favorite song on the list (Running On Empty) has less to do with quality (though it is a great song) than with the mass of good memories attached to it. I actually don't remember a lot of these titles, so it's not a very accurate list. The disco era was notable for the forgettable nature of a great many hits, you know. I'm fairly sure there'd be a lot more strike-throughs if I did remember the whole list. There are a couple on here that still make me want to hurt someone when I hear bits of them on the radio. *snort*
