forgottnenglish. There you will find posted entries from Jeffrey Kacirk's Forgotten English 2006 Calendar, which provides one antiquated, out-dated or just plain obscure English word per day.
For those of you who are writers (especially those writing LOTR fanfic), or who are just interested in this crazy-ass language of ours, there is an abundance of fascinating material. The posts go back a few months, and are worth perusal by those of literary persuasion.
