Yeah, I know Stone's a bit of an asshat at times, and his take on history can be rather...special. But I've always admired his guts. He makes big, muscular films full of opinion, and no matter how wacky he might come off, he sticks by them. There's a lot to be said for a director who plants his feet and says, "Yeah? Whatcha gonna do about it?"
Besides, really...this looks fucking awesome.
