About sending money to Japan...
Monday, March 14th, 2011 08:28 pm.
Hey guys!
Here's an article over at Slate.com about giving to disaster relief for Japan:
Why donations for disaster relief in Japan may not be the best way to help recovery efforts there.
I know it's an obvious impulse to send money, but Japan isn't Haiti or Indonesia. They have a GREAT DEAL of money in that country, pretty much everyone is well-insured, and the government is the best in the world at handling exactly this kind of disaster.
So if you're thinking about sending money over there, please read the article and use the information therein. It's important. :)
