It's only the extremists who do things like these, and most people know not to judge a whole nation on one incident. So please don't be ashamed. Also, I must say the things the guest chaplain says make a lot more sense to me than what those Christians are yelling.

Well, I don't think we have any corner on blind, unquestioning, mindless, knee-jerk belief in some flavor of religious dogma that justifies any kind of stupidity, ranging from plain rudeness to wholesale slaughter and genocide.

However, like you, I hate seeing it in Americans and other supposedly educated countries where there is open access to other ideas and the freedom to think for oneself. Still, so many of our citizens refuse to even consider that perhaps what they are basing their whole lives around is just a big "con" that has been going on in some form or other since the beginning of time. And that they are being used. It is very sad to see.
