I'd say PJ's influence will be extremely important, since Raimi has already refused to go ahead without his blessing. It sounds to me like Raimi really wants to work with PJ, and since PJ has said he'd like to see what someone else would do with the film as a director, I'd say the combination is ideal. If this goes through I'll be very happy. :)
