ROTK EE Trailer

If anyone would like to download the ROTK EE Trailer that's up at lordoftherings.net, here's a link where you can find it in Quicktime. (Since they've got it up as a streaming version, I thought you all might like this.)

ROTK Extended Edition Trailer

RIGHTCLICK SAVE ONLY!

Better get this now while it's hot. I have no idea how long it'll be there, since New Line might crack down on it.

Serai - thank you. I am so techno challenged - help! I have seen, and have open the streaming video quicktime clip.

Is there a way to save that? None of my right clicky things give me a save option unless I'm overlooking something. How does one snag screen caps? (Would Kill For the Look between F/S at the Crossroads)

If you're using Internet Explorer, then all you have to do is rightclick on the link, and you should get a box that includes "Save Target as". Choose that and the computer will ask you where you want to put the file. Tell it where you want the file saved, and it'll download.

This is a Quicktime File, so you can screencap off it. Once you download the file, all you have to do is play it. Then hit "pause" wherever you want to screencap. Go to Edit, then Copy. Once you do that, open whatever graphics program you have (I use Photoshop). Choose New, and the program will create a blank that's the same size as the pic you have in your buffer. Go to Edit, then hit Paste. The cap will show up there, and voila! you have your pic. :)

Thank you - tried - but when I right click on 'anywhere' whether the quicktime frame or the url or even the white space, the 'save as source' or 'save as quicktime movie' are greyed out. Grr. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Serai!

When I say you should rightclick on the link, I mean the link I just posted here. You can't save the file off the official site, because it's a streaming file there. (Well, you can, but I have no idea how to do it. I think you need a special program to do that.) That's why I put this link here, so you wouldn't have to dick with the official site anymore. :)

Aha! Just got this as I sent my last plaitive note. Shall try right now - you are so kind to have linked this! ('tis a mystery how!)

*scurries to save* *sends hugs*

Aha, I found the link over at the TORn homepage. That's why I said everyone should jump on it fast. New Line may well complain about the link and force it off.

Thanks for the link, though I suspect I'm going to be here for a long time to download it all. *sigh* *waits impatiently*

You're welcome! There was so much grousing about the streaming version (I had problems with it myself) that I thought I ought to point people in the direction of this link. :)

Thank-you, thank-you, I am so happy to have this--and also the directions on screen capping. Much appreciated!

You're very welcome. It's my pleasure!
