It's a lovely, unseasonably warm day here in the Southland, my monster cold is just about gone, I've got work for the next two weeks, and I'm off to see Alan Lee and get my first edition of Faeries signed.

Life's pretty good today.

You will adore Alan Lee! He was so incredibly sweet and gracious when I saw him last week. I asked him to pleasepleaseplease release the end-credit cast sketches for us. :)

He showed slides from LOTR production and his sketches. His next project is a book of unreleased sketches he did for the film, and he says he's going to try and get the credit sequence drawings for that book. :)
