Since yesterday, Frodo has been in bad pain. He has some kind of urinary blockage, and it's now bad enough that I can feel it as a lump in his belly. He screams every now and then, doesn't want me to pick him up, and I don't know what to do. He goes to the litterbox now and then, but can't pee.

I'm desperate. I only have a little money, so I could take him to see the vet to take a look at him, but I don't have the money to get him taken care of. I've tried looking online, but the only thing I can find is things like help with spay/neuter and such. I've tried calling the local vets, but none of them offer assistance, they're all "you have to find the help yourself". Meanwhile, Frodo is growling and yelling and I'm sitting here crying, trying to find a way.

I didn't think it would hurt this much.

*hugs hugs hugs*  I wish I could do more than offer hugs and love.  Have you looked into carecredit?  Mom had to do that when Diamond was ill, once upon a time, and it was a lifesaver

I was going to suggest Care Credit as well. Most vets offer it.

Thank you, hon! At the moment my biggest problem is just getting to the vet. Can't take Frodo on the bus in his condition and there's no one around i could beg a ride from. I'll reply back when I know more or can get there.

No, I'm trying to avoid anything like credit or a loan because I have NO WAY to pay it back. But thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the link, but it looks like they don't help with emergency or urgent care, and that's what's going on. :(
