I decided to leave Frodo at the vet's for the weekend. They told me that the animals are check twice on Sundays, in the morning and then late in the afternoon, to make sure everyone's okay. So I'll let him rest and get more comfortable before bringing him home. Once again, so many thanks for the help you've all given us!

Am revving up into cookie making mode. I've decided to make a few batches of different things and send everyone an assortment. That way you all get some of several different YUMS! I'll work on them this week and get them out by Friday or Saturday. :D

Nope, he doesn't! No stones, and the vet said they found just a few crystals. So it's one of those unknown cause things. She said it could be stress, but I'm not sure what he'd have to be stressed about! *sigh* Well, I'ma keep a close eye on him and treat him extra sweet to help him get better. MISS HIM ALREADY

I'm sure! When I had to leave Helo for 5 days, I bawled like a baby all the way home, even though at that point I knew he was going to be okay! Even though Helo is a little shit at night sometimes (wanting to interact at 3:30 a.m. most nights), not having him at home with me is the biggest void!

Late to the party about this, but I'm so happy to hear that Frodo doesn't need surgery. My Sam had a similar problem, but he ended up having surgery, what I jokingly called his "sex change." I think leaving Frodo at the vet hospital over the weekend is the right choice because should he need further treatment, you won't have to rush him back. And think of how much you can spoil him when he gets home. :-D

Yes, it's for the best, I think. SO looking forward to having him home. Will go out tomorrow to get baking supplies, so I don't have to leave him alone for a few days. I'll be right here to pet him and spoil him. :)
