Probably most of you know this one, but I just came across it and have spent the last couple of days being blown away. This is one of the best pieces of fan fic I've read. It's based on The Faculty, the horror flick starring Elijah Wood and Josh Hartnett, and it's bloody stunning. So stunning, in fact, that I decided it deserved more than just a plain old link, so I've made this spiffy icon/book cover thingie for it.

Now, BEWARE. As I hope you can tell from that icon, this fic isn't for the faint of heart. It's NC-17, and rather enthusiastically so. You'll need a couple of kinks in your armor to appreciate it.

Enjoyed it a few months back. Still WAITING for the next chapter. Frustrating. It is very good. But even a very good fic can go bad if left UNFINISHED.

OK, got that out of my system. Perhaps it is time for yet another email to Wax Jism. Be sure to pound on her. Perhaps it is a matter of numbers of people begging for her to finish the darn thing. . . .

I actually went over to her LJ and asked about it. She's kinda noncommital - sounds like inspiration took a hike on her. Maybe if more people let her know they're up for it, a plot bunny might crawl out from under bed and bite her leg one of these nights. :D
