Date: Monday, January 9th, 2006 05:56 pm (UTC)The other thing that cell phone users either don't know or deliberately ignore is the fact that you're not using a phone. You're using a jumped-up version of a walkie-talkie, a radio transmitter. Anybody with the right receiver tuned to the right frequency can eavesdrop on your calls. Not exactly what I'd call "secure".
Nope, no way I'm getting one of those.
