Guess who I ran into at the Alatriste screening last night?

The Button Lady!

She was in the Will Call line to pick up internet tickets. We had a big hug and squee before going in. I didn't see her again, but it was awfully nice to run into a fellow LOTR fan there. *grin*

She is way cool. Sells wonderful homemade fan buttons for $1 each, just enough to cover expenses. She says she does it just for the love of fandom, and her buttons really are great. I went nuts this year at ORC and bought about 30 of them from her, and now they're all over my purses and bags and coats.

No, no. She was in civvies. She actually recognized me, and it was when she said, "I know you, don't I?" that I realized who she was.

I still giggle when I think of her pic with Daisy. heeheehee
