Thursday, April 12th, 2007 11:24 amHere's a vid I came across on Youtube this morning. An attractive young woman calling herself "The Resident", who apparently does a vid series, reading quotes from Kurt's latest, Man Without A Country, and sharing some thoughts. She's pretty okay, but the quotes, both content and reading, are wonderful. So please check it out.
Human beings are chimpanzees who get crazy drunk on power.
He says so simply and succintly what I believe to be the most Earth-based philosophy on humanity, which is this: taking us into account only as one of the present life-forms on this planet, we're the ones the Earth should be rid of. We do the most damage (hell, we're basically doing all the damage) with the least return, we're changing the weather patterns and we're about to change the land masses, and we're unbridled in every single one of our lusts. Agent Smith was right: we're a virus. It's a no-brainer, really.
