Very true. I wonder how things WOULD have been--if things had REMAINED THE WAY THEY SHOULD HAVE, i.e., WE DIDN'T FUGGIN' KIDNAP THEM.

But he's right. For example, there's no reason to believe that Molly Bish would have lived past her seventeenth birthday, so really, her kidnapper/murderer should be exonerated.

I'm not entirely sure why he felt this essay was necessary. I'd read it, but I don't want to clutter my mind with his spooge. I suppose he could go back to reviewing movies, but I still wouldn't have a reason to read his columns since I think most of the shit presented as "entertainment" in the US is just that.
