Guess it's my turn initiate myself into this tradition. :D

Spent some intimate time with Tom Waits and his wonderfully ruined and melancholic voice. Nothing like his whiskey-and-cigarette wisdom when one is struggling with one's heart.

So I got inspired, and here you see the result - the first of several icons featuring TW lyrics. He's a treasure trove, really - check him out.

I'm a later initiate to the Waits Mysteries, myself. Bone Machine was my introductory album, and I've rarely had music get into my skull like that. Blood Money is the inspiration for this little crop of icons. :)
