It is funny. And they did have an irreverent sense of humor. By weird I meant the weird disconnect in my brain between lyrics I know should have another tune and a tune where I'm waiting for lyrics I also know. I recognized the song instantly from the intro, and then it was, "Wait, what? Huh? That's not right! What's going on?" I had to very carefully watch their mouths to make sure that was actually what they were singing.
