Until tonight, I'd had no idea that
Armageddon
was so unrelentingly
awful.

*points you back toward
Deep Impact

You know, even Stargate SG1 made fun of that movie when they stopped an asteroid from hitting earth....

True dat.
My eyes rolled so constantly throughout that I'm surprised I actually saw any of it.
I still remember that end scene, with the sepia overtones, of the kid on a bike, the toy Space Shuttle and the flag. Talk about hamhanded!

And I thought
Pearl Harbor
was horrifying. It ain't got a patch on this mess!
At one point, a guy says, "This is turning into a surrealistic nightmare!" I damned near fell out of my chair, I was laughing so hard.

Ah, yes, Armageddon, or "Total destruction can be
fun!
Compare it to Deep Impact, and it's a pile of steaming offal.

They've been playing Deep Impact a LOT lately on the movie channels - I definitely enjoy that one more (and of course it has NOTHING to do with the fact that Elijah is in it) *grins*
