.
I'm so glad to have my earliest fandom revived. It's lovely to have someplace to play.
The new Vulcan: There used to be people there, but they either left or died out; no one knows, as the remains are enigmatic. There will be factions within the Vulcan survivor population as to how they will re-establish their civilization - bedrock tradition, clean slate, or some combination of both? In this conflict, Spock will become a primal symbol.
Kirk: Although he's the same guy, he's also not the same guy. The difference in his history has an impact on his personality. He's now more hot-headed, takes offense a bit more quickly. He will need Spock and Bones more than ever. He will not cut in on Spock, but he will tease him and/or Uhura about it.
Spock: He clings harder to logic because he believes in it less than Spock Prime does; this is reinforced by the destruction of Vulcan. That chip on his shoulder will get him into trouble with his people. He genuinely likes humans, his tsking attitude notwithstanding, so he will not side with the Vulcans who want to cut themselves off from the rest of the galaxy.
More later.
