Tonight's clip is a blast from my past, and perhaps yours as well.

From the children's show Sesame Street comes this sweet little film set to Vivaldi's enchanting, melancholic tune. This clip fascinated me as a child; as it wends its way through all the near-abstract details to its wonderful conclusion, it changed the way I looked at the world with my little-kid eyes. It says, "Look at the world around you, really look. It contains more wonder than you can ever imagine." An extraordinary thought for a child that young!

For years I remembered this clip and wished I could see it again. Hooray for the internet! It brings back so many jewel-like memories. I hope you enjoy this little gem.
