No, I'm in the middle of L.A. No danger of wildfires here with 30 miles of concrete surrounding me. But the sun's been occluded and the air's been darkened for a few days now.
This happens every year. There are always wildfires in SoCal, if not in the summer than definitely when the Santa Anas start blowing in the fall. There'll be more fires then, no doubt.
