The Prez fields a tough question from a fourth-grader:


"Why does everybody hate you?"


This is a great clip. At a town hall meeting, a young kid asks the president about the reactions some people have to him. The poor kid is obviously nervous, but speaks up bravely. The Prez handles the question with respect and gravity, and helps the little man to feel better about his question and himself.

Dang, I sure like this guy. He disappoints me sometimes, but I'm glad I voted for him.

Obama handled that very honestly and elegantly. That a**hole Bush would probably have tried to make off with some lame joke, and he wouldn't have taken the boy seriously at all, but not Obama. I know he does disappoint at times, but he has his honesty, and his integrity, and I really admire the man.
