For those viewing this entry through the "Writer's Block" system, I've opened an LJ called
magsforhaiti.
This Sunday morning, January 17, I will begin posting items from my eBay backstock, for sale or auction. All proceeds, excluding minimal shipping costs, will go to Hollywood Unites for Haiti, the charity started by Jimmy Jean-Louis, a Haitian actor who works on Heroes.
I'll be selling Japanese and other international movie magazines, clippings packages on movie and TV actors, some specialty items, etc. I have an established record with eBay as a seller, and can provide links to my feedback ratings there. After payment is received and the items shipped, the cost will be donated directly to the charity via Paypal.
So if you'd like to donate to Haitian relief AND receive some really cool stuff, friend the LJ and check in on Sunday. I'll continue listing every day as long as there's interest.
