That wasn't my last post about the election. Or things in general in the current political climate.

I'll tell you what bothers me the most about pharmacists who refuse to dispense "morning after pills" or birth control pills--pharmacists know far more than doctors do about the side effects/harmful effects of the medications that they dispense. They know, for example, that taking prednisone over the long term can kill you, that antibiotic use can lead to C. difficile, which can kill you, that many people are going to have serious or fatal reactions to a variety of medications. Should they be allowed to refuse to dispense them because of this knowledge? No, of course not. Nor should a doctor have a right to refuse treatment because a patient's lifestyle is self-destructive in one way or another. It's appalling.

The more I read things like this the more I wonder how the hell someone with any brain cells at all could have put these assholes in power over the rest of us.
