Oh, look. Another crappy day.

It's raining here, which would usually be nice, but not today.
I woke up in the middle of the night with a sore throat, and today my teeth are aching and I feel feverish. Drank some of that Theraflu stuff and am spending as much time as possible sleeping.
On top of this, my Muse, in a fit of insulted pique, has packed His bags and declared that He's off to Bermuda for a vacation. So I find myself completely without any impulse to write. Lovely. I hope He'll come back in time for me to cook up something for the
hobbit_smut challenge, but I'm not holding my breath.
I may lock off the last fic I wrote, since no one seems to be interested in it. Maybe that will placate Him. He can be sensitive about things like that.
Can I pass out and wake up in January?

Date: Sunday, December 5th, 2004 01:23 pm (UTC)I've been stewing in my own depression for the last 24 hours, which is why I haven't had the will to say anything, but like all your work it was visceral, immediate and packed a real punch. There aren't many people who can pull off a het!Elijah (that works for me). You're one of the few, and I'd hate to see you stop writing.

Date: Sunday, December 5th, 2004 04:27 pm (UTC)Don't you give up writing! Please? You are one of my favorite authors and you know it's inspired my first 'series' of works (which I'm gonna finish I promise).
One of the things that I admire about you (and Undone as well) is your ability to tell it like it is. And while I may not agree ALL the time, I can appreciate the no-frills,cut to the chase approach.
Stick with it, the Muse *will* come back!
