His eyes were warm and loving, and as he took her in his arms, Briar Rose could hear far away the fairies' shouts, and feel the cool brilliant flashes of magic as they enveloped her - pink! blue! pink!, over and over.
But she was no longer their innocent young charge. She had awakened, and would nevermore be that girl in the forest. She was his, he was hers, and everything had changed. Thus, surrounded by the swooning glory, to the strains of an elegant waltz that filled the air, Aurora and her prince danced off among the stars.
