seraiIN OTHER NEWS: I went to Suncoast today and picked up my FREE* copy of the ROTK EE today. Yay! And because it was preordered and prepaid, and I was second in line when the store opened, I got a really nifty keen deck of LOTR playing cards, illustrated with Alan Lee's drawings! These are extremely cool. They're apparently a promo item for the DVDs, so not for sale in stores. (If you see them on eBay, you should pick 'em up.) I shall scan the cards some time this week so you all can see them.
My temp job is very nice and non-stressful.
Casey has settled into life with me rather well. We get on quite comfortably, except for when she starts going on her weird kitty tears around the house. But she hasn't caused any damage or done anything pissy (literally or figuratively) yet. She seems like a good soul, and I'm very happy she's here.
And like that. I am now going to heat up a mug of Trader Joe's Spicy Cider, and go take a trip to Middle Earth, complete with comfy pillows and blankie, and a box of Kleenex. I fully expect to be a wreck once I'm back.
