My computer geek, Manny, was just here, and he reinstalled the Roxio that wasn't working before. So now I can return to backing up my storage drive (about 18 gigs worth of vids, pics, text, etc.) in preparation for wiping my hard drive and starting over...

I know I've promised copies of Photoshop to a couple of people, and I'm sorry I haven't been able to do that. I'd like to wait until we do the wipe, because it seems I've got at least one virus in here and I don't want to infect anyone else. I think I'll be able to have the wipe done in a couple of weeks (gotta get the money), and then I'll be ok to do stuff like that again.

Yeesh.

I've got ZoneAlarm for a firewall. But the virus I've got appears to have fucked with my Norton. I can neither update nor disable Norton, so I've open and vulnerable. Which is why I have to have my hard drive wiped. :(
