So. I've been posting some of my writing recently. Having got (almost) no response, I'm beginning to wonder if anyone is even seeing these posts, letting along reading them. I've been getting little nudges to write, snapshots and squibs and such. But what's the point to putting them here, when nobody's reading them?

In the past few years of putting up desktop pictures, I only ever got responses from a handful of people. And yet, my friends list is pretty long. Do more than a couple of people see them?

Not to put too fine a point on it, but is there any point to my putting up stuff here at all?

I read every one of your posts, but don't always have something to say about every one. I hope you'll continue to be active on LJ. I'd like to know more about your daily life, and the ordinary things that we all share -- food, books, TV, neighborhood, successes, failures, small kindnesses or annoyances...

I always look at your photos and wallpapers and have commented on a few I especially liked. As for the writing, I rarely read anyone's writings and never read fanfics.

I can't recall ever seeing you at my LJ. If you never comment at other people's LJs, that may be why they don't comment at yours.

I tend to come and go from LJ and DW, but I'm mostly around. You can always message or email me if there's something you want me to see.

If the fic is from an unfamiliar fandom, then I don't usually comment. I do like your pictures but don't always know what to say.

I hope more people will be active on DW and LJ. Everyone is over on Tumblr, which I don't like at all.

Maybe you could have a friending meme or a group-watch of a TV show or movie? Something to get people involved?
