This has been on my desktop since yesterday...
The road through his eyes is packed dirt, a line stretching through miles of golden waves, an endless windswept vista. Yet even in all that ardent emptiness, trees press dark around me, branches and roots interlacing. They're not there when I turn around.

Date: Monday, August 3rd, 2015 05:24 pm (UTC)That moment in your icon was fucking heartbreaking, by the way. All that silence in his portrayal of madness was beautiful, how nearly all of it was internal. It made me question his sanity through the entire film, frankly. Awesomely good work.
I don't remember the tramp with the dog, though.
