Me: Yeah. I had the DVD for a while.
GT: I missed that one somehow,
GT: I just got it
GT: and flipper
Me: It never came out in theaters here. Went straight to DVD
Me: Flipper! Unfortunately, the DVD of Flipper does not contain the Happy Shorts.
GT: wha?
Me: Disney got wise and cut 'em out.
Me: The Happy Shorts. You hadn't heard about that?
GT: nope
GT: pulls up chair
Me: There is a shot in the original film, and the VHS, wherein Sandy gets out of the water and stands on the dock in his swim trunks.
Me: And, he being young and having a great time, his shorts show evidence of being...happy.
GT: awwwww, no wonder the DVD was so cheap
GT: damn
Me: In the DVD, they've cropped the shot so you only see him from the waist up.
Me: Party poopers.
GT: giggles
GT: damn disney
Me: Really. How dare they cut out the ONLY ELIJAH HARDON IN EXISTENCE ON FILM!!
GT: shocking really
Me: A crime.
Me: It's like defacing the Mona Lisa.
Me: If the Mona Lisa had a big ol' boner.

*LOL* I'm SO happy that I have the VHS version of the movie as well, even though I've never watched it, because I don't have a VCR. Yet. ;)

Some people think there's an Elijah Hardon in Try Seventeen as well. I tried to find the cap for you, but alas, I couldn't find it. It's during the scene where Jones is at the motel with Jane.
