That first picture is heartbreaking. A glimpse of the life they could never have. The second one makes me want to write Ethan/Vanessa.

I've seen that episode several times, and I always end up sobbing at that point. It's not only lovely in its own right, it's so gorgeously cruel. Lucifer couldn't have created a greater temptation for her, I think. And now we're seeing just how much of a lie it was. Ethan isn't the guy in that dream. Any possibility of him being that guy died long ago. It's fucking heartrending. Logan is a goddamn genuis, I swear.
