For the last couple of days I've been reading Stephen King's new book, Sleeping Beauties, which he wrote with his son Owen. It's a lot of fun, and warming to my Goddess-loving heart. I'm about at the last fifth right now, and I suddenly got a very strong sense of where the story is going to go from here. So I'm testing myself.
After the break below, I've written a quick summary of where the plot is headed and how I think it ends. I shall report back later as to whether I was right.
SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY
At the moment, the DA has pulled up to the roadblock in his RV.
From here - The deputies are called away by a large commotion happening in town. An explosion or a huge fight or mass shooting. The RV enters the prison. A mob arrives and there is a gun battle. The prison is breached. Eve taps her power and becomes magical/huge. Peters and Burke are killed. The men are humbled. The door is reopened and Eve departs. Most of the women return, but some decide to stay in the other world.
