I don't think they understand how awful it is that this little baby is born lying on a frigging wire mesh floor instead of in a soft nest of straw that its mother has lined with her own feathers. I grew up spending a lot of time on a real farm, where animals were treated like God's creatures. They're just seeing a baby chicken, and arguing about what it should be called and don't even think about the shame of the way these creatures are treated. It's sad all right. It's disgusting. .
Yes, EXACTLY. I wonder what all those people would say if shown a picture of a newborn human, still covered with goo from the process, lying all alone on a mesh floor?
Oh, looka the cute widdle baby! Forgive me for the way I am today, but I'm feeling a lot of discouragement about the world, the human race, and my beliefs, and this stuff just makes me mad and it hurts,
