OK, now that I'm out of work, and have all this free time and am spending playing stupid video games, can someone point me to a good tutorial on making music vids?
There's two kinds that I've seen: the kind using still pics on Powerpoint, and the kind that uses actual clips from DVDs. I'm interested in learning both.
So who among you has done this, and/or can recommend a good place to learn, and programs to use? I've got a couple of ideas that I've been playing with for a long time, and I'd like to take a crack at 'em.

Not as good as Premiere, but better than WMM, is the one I have, which I own and can send you a copy if you want. I think it has some tutorials and step by steps in there. And of course, you can always reach me via email if you have some really technical questions.
Uluviel on LJ is a really good source for making vids. She's done it for ages; you could probably email her too, if she's not on your f-list.
