To all you lovely folks who wished me a Happy Birthday yesterday. Thanks for the good wishes, and the lovely pics (from i_o_r_h_a_e_l and mews1945 - cute!animals OMG - and estelanui). Especial thanks to aina_baggins for that beautiful Frodo/Sam! Forehead kiss, yes. *sigh*

My birthday was, unfortunately, rather dull and lonely. I didn't get any calls or cards or anything (yeah, I know, children are starving in Schenectady, I shouldn't bitch). But I had all my friends here, and that helped me stay in good spirits.

Things are not going well in my world at the moment. I'm not going to elaborate on it right now, but...blech.

Anyway! Thank you all again. It was lovely to see how much you guys care.

Oh, so sorry to have missed your birthday--I was off-line yesterday due to work and falling asleep on the sofa at 8:00 PM (also due to work--ugh). But no matter, HAPPY BIRTHDAY A BIT BELATED!!!

Sorry it wasn't perfect but I can relate. My last was not all that great either. Still, there's always "next year."

Oh well, I haven't been to CA since our aborted lunch and my Mom's death in September. But I would still love to meet sometime. I'll let you know the next time I make it. Take care. :)
