Looking for help with Photoshop
Wednesday, July 14th, 2004 09:13 pmHELP!
All you folks out there who are experienced with PS, I've got a problem I'd like some help with, if you wouldn't mind.
I'm running PS 6.0, and finding that suddenly I can't layer text in any kind of color. Whether I'm trying to put text on an existing color photo, or starting from a blank (RGB) file, it will only allow black or white text. I've tried selecting the color before I start typing, and also typed in text, selected it and tried to change the color, all to no avail. I've also tried restarting the computer, and even dumped Photoshop and re-installed it - zilch.
There's never been a problem doing this before - as you can see from my icons. I have no idea why PS would suddenly refuse to give me color text. Have any of you encountered this problem, or have any ideas as to why it's happening? It's driving me freakin' NUTS!
Any help would be appreciated.
ETA: Thanks to those of you who posted. I discovered that the whole thing was due to a mistake so vastly moronic that I categorically REFUSE TO ADMIT WHAT IT WAS. Suffice it to say that calling me stupid would be an insult to stupid people. 'Nuff said.
