It's NOT a window. It's an Emperor's Balcony!

So, I realized last night that I haven't provided an update on my Frodo!
He is doing well. Energetic and full of beans. Since I've gotten him off dry food and onto a diet of turkey meat, he's leaner and MUCH LOUDER when it comes to mealtimes, LOL. He pees fine now - no more random puddles. He still pees when he's startled, but now he gets a VERY SURPRISED LOOK and goes DASHING off to the box, after which he saunters back out like "Now, where were we?"
The only time he actually pees where he is, is when he's trapped and scared. Unfortunately, that's happening regularly, as I have to give him saline injections twice a week. So I wrap him in a towel before putting him in the soft kitty bed to keep him still. My BiL comes over and helps me with that, as there's no way I could control Frodo on my own - he REALLY REALLY DOES NOT LIKE being stabbed in the neck, poor baby.
Other than that, it seems he's okay now. I palpate his abdomen every day to make sure his bladder isn't backed up, but I've felt no evidence of anything wrong. I'm crossing my fingers that it was a one-time problem, though I know that's not very likely. But THANKS TO ALL OF YOU, my Fro is still with me and seems happy.
Now, to get Casey over to the vet for a flea shot. She spends most of her time outdoors these days, and the fleas have really been driving her nuts this summer. I think I'll be able to do that in a couple of weeks - just a matter of getting a ride over there and back, which can be tricky since I don't really have anyone willing to actually wait an hour for everything to happen. But I'll figure it out. :)
