Pissed off

.
I'm about two inches away from dumping Firefox and never using it again.
It's been a great browser the last few years, but in the last couple of months, since they released the new updates, it's gotten really FUCKING buggy. About 25% of the time I can't load a page - have to keep clicking the link over and over again. I'm sick of doing this!
Also, the other day I was at my mom's house on her computer, and a new Firefix update came through - 2.0.0.11. But I haven't gotten the alert for this update. When I click "look for updates", it claims there aren't any. But I'm still at 2.0.0.9!
Because of the page-loading bullshit, I can't get onto the Firefox forum to ask anybody any questions!
I know Firefox is supposed to be better than IE, and it has been. But right now it's just as shitty as IE, and I'm pretty pissed off. I've never had this much trouble on the internet before.

Date: Monday, December 10th, 2007 01:48 am (UTC)You could try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, but that's a pain and you lose all your bookmarks and plug ins and stuff. (Unless you know how to export them, which I'm afraid I don't.)
It is working okay for me though.

Look in the "File" menu, and you'll see "Import" and "Export". Click "Export" and you can save them as an .html file wherever you'd like, so you can re-import them or export to another browser. :)
