Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer.



Man, bummer! He's always been so cool. Very sexy and physical. (That's Bodhi, the megalomaniacal surfer guru from Point Break.)

I hope he can beat it. His doctor says it's small and he's responding to treatment.

Terribly sad news. Pancreatic cancer is very hard to beat. I've had two friends die from it in the last year.

Oh dear. Pancreatic ca generally has poor prognosis :(
But with the best of care, and it being in the early stages, hopefully he'll beat it.

I am very grieved by this. Patrick Swayze has always been one of my "guilty pleasures," and Point Break and Road House are two of my all time favorite action/drama films. I adore Bodhi. I have always intended to slash Bodhi/Johnny one day, and I have the bunny kept in a special reserve hutch. ;-)

I saw my uncle die of cancer and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, much less someone who has given me joy, as Swayze has. It's a horrible end.

I sure hope he can beat it, but the odds are shitty. :(

It's rough, cos' pancreatic's the worst you can get. My friend's ex's mom had it... hopefully they got to Pat in time. Judging by most reports, they've said they did.
