Elijah dreams

So as long as we're sharing Elijah dreams (tip of the snood to
undone27), I thought I'd relate this one I had. It came around a while ago, but I didn't have an excuse to bring it up 'til now.
It seems that in this dream, Elijah's mother was very involved in school activities. She had invited me over to her house to discuss doing storytelling for a class. I was wearing this purple flowy embroidered Bedouin dress I haven't had for about 15 years, and we went into the kitchen to talk show talk. We're just getting into it when two things happen.
One, the phone rings, she picks it up and it's some business or other that she has to take care of, so she leaves the room.
At the same time, in pops Elijah, who is about 8 years old. He's wearing black jeans and this eye-rippingly striped sweater (nothin's changed there). And is just about as cute as you could possible imagine. He's like one of those little glittery glass unicorn thingies, he's so damn cute. And he bounces up to me, all shiny brown bangs and sparkling blue eyes, and offers me Kool-Aid.
Seeing as how there's nothing else going on, I say sure. He proceeds to make the Kool-Aid, using fruit juice instead of water because he insists that it tastes "koolier" that way (on my honor, that is what he said). Then as I'm drinking it, he starts bouncing around again like a fucking rubber monkey, telling me about how he knows how to make cookies, and do I want some cookies? Then, without waiting for an answer, he starts making cookies, and he's a hell of a lot better at it than I am. They were chocolate chip, and all along he's explaining every step to me, while he's kneeling up on this high stool by the counter and making these cookies.
And all I can do is lean back on the counter, totally bowled over, and think "You GO, little dude!"
That was it. We never got to eating the cookies, 'cause my alarm clock woke me up. Like I said, sickeningly cute, but man, he was a little dynamo.
